The Rattlin Bog Banjo / Mandolin Tab
The Rattlin' Bog Tenor Banjo + Mandolin Tab in G Major. The tuning is standard Irish GDAE which is the same as the violin. There's also another version in the tuning of CGDA , some people tune their banjos this way, which is the same as the Mandola, or even the viola. Suitable for Irish Bouzouki in GDAE tuning.
This is a very repetitive song but great fun to sing. Not too many attempt it for fear of getting the verses mixed up. It tells a story that must be put exactly right. There's no point singing ''The leaf'' before ''The branch '' for example, and that's why not too many sing it, unless they are drunk, and they nobody really cares 'cause everybody joins in.
