This is a traditional song from Co. Kerry Ireland. It was a big hit for Irish singer Christy Moore. The [ 4 string tenor ] banjo / guitar tab is in the key of G. You'll hear this song played a lot in Ireland, probably because it's one of the easiest tunes you'll ever learn to play. It's a typical song about emigration and a longing for home. The easy to play banjo letter notes are also here. Suitable for Irish Bouzouki in GDAE tuning.
