The Boys Of The Old Brigade tenor banjo, guitar / mandolin tab. Suitable for Irish Bouzouki in GDAE tuning. This Irish rebel song was written by the late Paddy McGuigan who was the singer with The Barleycorn for many years. The Wolfe Tones had the biggest success with the song. The song is still played today at some ballad session. It was a standard song for every ballad singer in Ireland in the 1970's to recently. The banjo notes are in the key of G. The letter notes are included here below for ease of playing. [ 4 string tenor banjo ] The first tab is in GDAE which is regarded as ''Standard Irish'' and the last tab is in CGDA which is the same as a mandola.
