Suitable for Irish Bouzouki in GDAE tuning. This old folk song from Co. Clare is a favourite of every ballad group in Ireland as it's very well known throughout Ireland and around the world where the Irish gather. Michael Considine wrote the song many years ago while living in America and dreaming of the homeland and the girl he left behind. It's usually played in a minor key. First mandolin tab is in GDAE Tuning and the other tab is in CGDA.

The below version of the letter notes are different than the banjo tab above. The below version is in the key of G and there are no sharp notes at all. It's only slightly different but it's nice to have a couple of different version to try out.
