A Pair Of Brown Eyes[ Mandolin, Banjo, Mandola Tab ]was written by Shane MacGowan from The Pogues. This version is in the key of G. . I remember attending a Pogues and Dubliners concert at The Point Depot many years ago and I used to carry a small G tin whistle around with me in my pocket. It took it out in the point depot lobby and before the gig started and began playing A Pair Of Brown Eyes. Before long there were hundred of people gathered around me singing along. What a great craic that was. It's a fairly easy tune to play. The first tab is in Tuning GDAE. [ Standard Irish Banjo tuning ] and the second tab is in CGDA tuning.
